Jacob studied acting at The Oxford School of Drama and has worked across the country, both acting and directing for stage and screen. He previously undertook a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Science. He grew up in York.
Jacob has experience of acting on stage and screen, voice over work, motion capture performance and immersive theatre. He has directed short films and plays as well as his first full length play at The York Theatre Royal (The Real THing, 2023). He writes short films and plays, yet to be produced, but is working on a full length play. He is currently exploring the applications of XR in immersive experiences.
Outside of this, Jacob has helped organise Cheltenham International Film Festival, creating content for their website and marketing, designing their website and ticketing system, and programming their short film competition.
Jacob ejoys adding vaule to others' creative endevours through forming new ideas and loves to collaborate with a team. He is keen to explore how acting and directing techniques can be applied outside of the traditional realm, suh as public speaking and wellness.
