Bio
I have been involved in theatre, in both professional and community theatre, for the last twelve years. In recent years, I moved from costume and set design to writing and directing. I wrote the plays Boxes (2022) and Sonnets in Bloom (2024) , both performed in York.
I also have experience for writing for film, having written a short rom-com (Foley Folly) and a medieval comedy webseries (Tales of Bacon) and recently completed a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from York St John University.
I’m the current Chair of the York Settlement Community Players bringing theatre and communities together since 1919 - putting on plays and sharing them with audiences in venues across York, including: York Theatre Royal Studio, John Cooper Studio Theatre @41 Monkgate and The Black Swan Inn.
