Bio
Livy is a Freelance Creative who wears many different hats. As an actor, she works both locally and nationally on predominantly theatre projects, acting in productions with companies such as ARCADE, Badapple Theatre, Next Door But One, Stephen Joseph Theatre, Shooting Fish Theatre, Digital Drama, and Parrabbola.
She works as a Facilitator on a number of community engagement projects, including Interplay Theatre’s LS12 Creative community participation programme and Clementhorpe’s ‘Cuppa and a Chat’ sessions. In her role as Support Artist for the Now Then! project’s School Residencies programme, she worked with over 60 Year 3 pupils in Sherburn in Elmet and delivered both in-school and after-school workshops exploring movement, storytelling and aerial arts.
With her Arts Marketeer and Content Developer hat on, Livy works regularly with York Theatre Royal and Friargate Theatre, supporting them with marketing and communication campaign planning and delivery. Before going freelance, she worked as a Web Content Developer at the University of York, leading and contributing to collaborative projects to redevelop web content on the University’s website. Before that, she was Marketing & Communications Coordinator at the Screen Industries Growth Network and XR Stories, planning and delivering communications and marketing campaigns for these two arts research projects. She worked at York Theatre Royal between 2019 and 2021, first as Marketing & Press Assistant then Marketing Officer.
Livy has been a Trustee of Theatre@41, York's leading independent theatre, since 2025 and was Chair of York Settlement Community Players between 2022 and 2024.
