Bio
I’m a children’s writer, illustrator and web developer who loves using storytelling to spark imagination, connection and confidence. My stories and artwork are often shaped by themes of difference, belonging, resilience and a little magic in unexpected places. My writing was longlisted for the WriteMentor Children’s Novel Award 2025.
As someone with an upper limb difference, and through my mentoring work with Reach UK, I care deeply about helping children and young people feel seen, valued and proud of who they are. I’m also passionate about inclusion in sport and fitness, which I’m currently exploring through a creative project inspired by women’s football history.
Alongside my creative work, I build thoughtful websites for small businesses and organisations, especially for people who want a credible online presence without the overwhelm. I recently shared these skills at York College, helping final-year art students develop their online portfolios as part of a business module.
I also welcome selected commissions for bespoke illustrations inspired by people, pets and places that matter, including bringing historical photos to life through watercolour and ink.
